The sumptuous King bed is dressed with soft stone-washed linen by Piglet In Bed, while the cosy living room with twin designer chairs offers a cocoon with a view and leads out to a sweet private garden.
Stay in
Some evenings are made for staying put.
Pick up fresh local produce and whip up a delicious brunch or midnight feast in the cleverly designed kitchenette. It features a luxury coffee machine and everything you could need to make tasty meals for two. Open a bottle of Sussex wine and linger over dinner, or make the evening more indulgent by booking the services of our wonderful private chef, Loïc Le Pape. Guests can also order delicious home-cooked meals from our local caterers, ready to enjoy in the comfort of The Studio.
Switch off
With nowhere you need to be, you can properly unwind.
Sink into The Studio's deep bath, book a massage or yoga session for two, or wander through the trees to South Downs Sauna at The Grain Store for a Finnish-style sauna experience and simple spa treatments. Then head back to The Studio, close the door and enjoy having the rest of the evening entirely to yourselves.
Head out
When you feel like venturing out, there's plenty to tempt you.
With the South Downs Way quite literally on the doorstep, you can spend your days walking through open countryside before exploring the independent shops, cafés and restaurants of historic Lewes. Spend a day or two discovering the finest Sussex vineyards within easy reach of The Grain Store, or head for the coast. And when you fancy a change of pace, the bright lights, restaurants, bars and culture of Brighton and Hove are within easy reach.
